The ability to stand and walk is a very important goal for many patients with SCI. This toolkit focuses on various stages of functional abilities and then correlates appropriate outcome measures to use when patients reach these stages. These various outcome measures allow clinicians to test the patient’s readiness for distance walking, as well as identify areas of deficit that need to be addressed.
